OPEN
$45/$50: Members/Non-members
The open qualifier round is for competitors looking to fight for a spot in the Finals round and a chance at their slice of the $6000 cash purse.
Three categories: Female, Male, or Non-Binary.
The top 5 competitors from each category in this round will move on to the Open finals round, Sunday. Feb. 18th.
The rules meeting will happen shortly before the beginning of the round.
CITIZENS
$15/$20: Members/Non-members
The Telegraph Turn-Up is primarily a climbing competition for everyone; with a selection of 20 high quality boulders of all difficulties everyone will have something to try. Because we are such a small space, every boulders counts. We hope to bring you a very special round of rock climbing no matter what grade you climb.
This section of the comp will be broken into three, 2-hour rounds with an additional Member-Only round on Friday.
Self-assign category based on what you end up climbing. Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced.
Gender categories: Female, Male, Non-Binary.
COLLEGIATE
This is the USA Climbing portion of the event. (Register here) The advanced category will be scored against the OPEN qualifier, so Collegiate athletes will have a chance to score into the Open Finals Round.
ADVICE
1) Fill out a waiver ahead of time.
Our initial waiver expired after a year, so there's a chance you'll need to fill out a new one even if you've been here before.
2) Remember your time slot.
If you're in the Citizens round you will only be allowed to climb during your time slot and will be assigned a corresponding wristband upon entry. OPEN only has one time slot.
3) Limit your belongings.
We are a very small space and competition days can get crazy. Please try to limit how much stuff you bring to the gym on comp day. We have a limited number of lockers & cubbies and they are first come, first served. We do not allow any bike or scooter parking inside the gym at any time.
4) Listen to the rules.
There will be a rules meeting before each round of climbing begins. Arrive a little early to make sure you get checked in and set up with your scorecard if you'd like to hear the rules meeting. (This regards to the competition rules. Our standard gym rules always apply)
